It is a cause of great sadness to me that world authorities faced with Covid 19 and the catastrophic damage done, seek every avenue of available help. Except the one resource who knows the end from the beginning and has the answers.
Proverbs 16v1 The preparations of the heart belong to man,
But the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.
God is Sovereign - man proposes and God disposes!
16v9 A man’s heart plans his way,
But the Lord directs his steps.
Our leaders had so many plans for the future of our nation but the Sovereign Lord blows on these.
We, as well as they, do not know what the future holds. Unlike those with good intent stumble on blindly, we know the one who holds the future.
The course of man, as nations are led more deeply into sin making recovery ever more, difficult demands our prayers.
Proverbs 14v34 Righteousness exalts a nation,
But sin is a reproach to any people.
